New PI Predictor Tool
The PI Predictor is a decision-support tool designed to help rice growers estimate the timing of panicle initiation (PI) in their crops. By inputting crop variety, region, and sowing or permanent water date, the tool predicts the average PI date—crucial for scheduling PI sampling and nitrogen topdressing.
