CY26 Annual Summary
The CY26 Rice Extension Annual Summary shares our seasonal findings through a more targeted collection of case studies, results and discussion. We look at what was observed, what it could mean in the paddock and opportunities for growers to refine management practices in future seasons.
Throughout CY26, Rice Extension collected more than 1,600 individual crop measurements across seven Focus Sites, alongside 300+ pre-draining grain moisture samples. This on-ground monitoring provided valuable insight into crop performance under local growing conditions and helps connect research, data and seasonal observations with practical outcomes.
As always, we’ve aimed to create a resource with something for everyone. Practical approaches for growers, locally relevant results for agronomists, insights for industry and useful reference material for researchers.
